• Golf club distances: the table per club, how far a 7 iron flies and how to measure your own in a simulator

  Tips & Tricks · 18 September 2026 · 10 min read
Stableford awards points instead of counting strokes, and a ruined hole costs you at most that hole's points. And: General Play in the Swiss Golf app and what the simulator writes on the card.
• Golf etiquette and dress code in Switzerland: what the club expects, what the exam asks and what applies in the simulator bay
  Tips & Tricks · 18 September 2026 · 10 min read

What the launch monitor reads, the order a fitter works in, what Migros Golf charges and when you are better off waiting. And how to get the baseline numbers yourself for the price of an hour in a simulator.
• Winter greens in golf: what they are, which rules apply and whether the round counts
  Tips & Tricks · 18 September 2026 · 10 min read

• Playing golf alone: does it work on the course, does the round count, and what an hour alone in a simulator gives you
  Tips & Tricks · 18 September 2026 · 10 min read
On the course the club decides whether you start alone or join a group, and a round alone never counts for your handicap. In the simulator you really are alone, but you pay for the whole bay. What each option gives you, what it costs and how far you get without a pro.

  Technology · 18 September 2026 · 9 min read
Whether you play St Andrews or Pebble Beach in a simulator is decided by the software, not by the measuring device. And whether a venue has the course is decided by its operator, because some courses are licensed per unit and year. What TrackMan and GSPro hold, and why Crans-sur-Sierre and Adare Manor are two reasons to book a particular bay this winter.
• Fixing a slice: what the launch monitor says about your slice and how to read it
  Tips & Tricks · 18 September 2026 · 8 min read
