When is indoor golf open? Sundays, evenings and early mornings in 62 entries
51 of 62 venues with opening hours are open on Sundays, 43 close at 21:00 or later, 35 open at 8:00 or earlier. The figures by weekday and canton.
Of the 110 indoor venues in the directory, 62 give their opening hours in the entry (as of 2 October 2026). All figures here refer to these 62. 51 are open on Sundays, 43 close at 21:00 or later on at least one day, 35 open at 8:00 or earlier on at least one day. In addition, 23 venues state round-the-clock access, 18 of them without hours in the entry. They are in Indoor golf around the clock.
Which weekdays are open?
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are open at all 62 venues. On Tuesday one venue is closed, on Monday 6, on Saturday 5 and on Sunday 11. Open on all seven days are 48 venues, which is 77 %. The table calculates per day on the venues that are open on that day.

Sunday has the most gaps, and 5 venues are closed on both Saturday and Sunday. 9 entries stay open until midnight. They include The Golf Room and studiogolf in Zurich, which are open daily from 06:00 to 24:00 (the studiogolf page says 365 days a year), and Matterland Indoor-Golf in Zermatt. Golfflix in Adliswil closes at midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and at 23:00 on the other days. Four of the 9 are in a sports, padel or leisure centre. At the elPadel Social Club in Winterthur the entry gives indoor golf at the hours of the sports bar and café, until 24:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, until 22:00 on Sundays.
The earliest opening is 06:00, and no time field of any entry says earlier. That applies to 12 venues, among them ABR Golf in Le Mont-sur-Lausanne and Birdie Golf Toggenburg, which according to the venue's page is open daily from 06:00 to 23:00. In Graubünden none of the 6 entries with hours opens before 9:00.
How many hours a week is a venue open?
Adding up the hours of all days, the median venue is at 84 hours a week, on average 12 hours a day. At the lower end is Alpine Golf in Le Châble with 30 hours on 5 days, at the upper end The Golf Room and Matterland Indoor-Golf with 126 hours, which is 18 hours on every day.

Most entries with hours are in the canton of Zurich. In Valais all 7 are open on Sundays, in Zurich 13 of 14, in Vaud 5 of 8.

Round the clock and hours for members
Two things are not in these figures. First, the venues with round-the-clock access: 18 of them have no hours in the entry, among them all 16 for guests without a membership. Second, the hours for members. INGOLF in Opfikon gives non-members Monday to Friday 16:00 to 21:00 and at the weekend 10:00 to 21:00, and members daily 05:00 to 24:00. The entry holds the hours of the non-members.
What it looks like at venues without fixed hours is shown by the Swiss Golf Lounge: at the Horgen site it says «Open 24 hours», and in winter from November to March there are staffed times, Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 20:00.
What the figures do not say
The hours come from the entries and can change. 48 of the 110 indoor venues have no hours in the entry, and the figures above say nothing about them. The 62 are not a sample but the entries that give hours. An opening time also does not tell you whether a bay is free: at the Padelarena Wädenswil reservations currently go by phone or WhatsApp according to the entry.
