About us
Who makes the directory
golfsimulators.ch lists the indoor golf venues and golf simulators of Switzerland. This page says who makes the site, how an entry is made and what is paid.
Today it lists 126 venues in 21 cantons, 16 of them driving ranges.
Who makes the site
golfsimulators.ch belongs to Manser Ventures in the canton of Zurich, the sole proprietorship of Ruben Manser. The address and the UID are in the imprint.
The site is in German and English. Every venue page exists in both languages.
What gets listed
Every place where you can book simulator time: indoor golf venues and studios with golf simulators.
Also driving ranges whose bays track the ball flight, for example with TrackMan Range or Toptracer. They are in the directory, but never as indoor golf. The map, the list and the venue page call them a driving range.
A simulator that only members can book is not listed.
How an entry is made
We research every venue by hand. The facts come from the operator's website. We check the address against geo.admin.ch and the company against the commercial register. Only then is the entry published.
The text describes what the venue offers. It does not judge. For every entry we keep which source supports which fact.
Operators can take over their entry for free and maintain it themselves. We review a change to a published entry before it appears.
What is free and what is paid
A listing is CHF 0, and so is taking it over. Every fact is in every entry: bays, simulator and software, opening hours, prices, contact.
Premium is CHF 100 a month or CHF 1'000 a year. It buys position and presentation: higher in the list, more pictures, a video, a booking button. It buys no facts.
The ad spaces are labelled as paid. Advertising is for companies that sell something to golfers. An operator does not buy advertising, an operator buys Premium.
No ratings
There are no stars and no reviews. A golfer cannot leave one, an operator cannot buy one. Whether a venue suits you is in the facts: technology, prices, opening hours, location.
