Common questions from beginners
Can I use a golf simulator as a complete beginner?
Yes. Many venues offer a short introduction and provide rental clubs. You play in your own bay, and nobody is waiting behind you. Ask the venue directly whether an introduction is available.
What do I need to bring to a golf simulator?
Comfortable clothing and clean, flat-soled trainers are usually enough. Balls are provided, and many venues have rental clubs, so ask if you have none of your own. Spiked golf shoes are often not allowed on the mats.
Will I really learn golf on a simulator?
Yes. The launch monitor measures your swing and ball flight, so after every shot you see what happened. That helps you build a solid basic technique. Some venues also offer lessons with a pro; what is on offer is stated on each venue's page.
