golfsimulators.ch has researched and counted the venues with a golf simulator in Switzerland by hand. The figures are on this page with their source.
The directory golfsimulators.ch lists 126 venues in 21 cantons: 110 indoor venues and 16 driving ranges whose bays track the ball flight (as of 2 October 2026). Together the indoor venues state 202 bays, as far as they give a number. Every venue was researched individually.
80 of the 110 indoor venues state an hourly price. It runs from CHF 25 to CHF 99 per bay, with a median of CHF 50. Among the ten cantons with at least three prices, the median is CHF 60 in Zurich and Zug and CHF 35 in Ticino.
81 indoor venues offer coaching and 87 give information on group bookings. 23 state round-the-clock access, 16 of them for guests and 7 only with a membership or subscription.
On accessibility the picture is thin: the entry says something about it for 7 of the 110 indoor venues and for none of the 16 ranges. That does not mean the others are not accessible. It means it is not written down anywhere, and anyone arriving in a wheelchair should call first.
The facts come from the operators' websites. Addresses are checked against geo.admin.ch and companies against the commercial register. The directory has no ratings. The figures count entries and are not an official statistic.

Every canton with at least one venue, counted today. The median appears only where at least three indoor venues state an hourly price. It follows the rule of the price page: for each venue the lowest amount its entry names for one hour counts.

How the figures are made
We research every venue by hand. The facts come from the operator's website, we check the address against geo.admin.ch and the company against the commercial register. Only then is the entry published, and for every entry we keep which source supports which fact.
A simulator that only members can book is not in the directory. Driving ranges whose bays track the ball flight are, but never as indoor golf. A fact that is not in the entry counts as not documented, not as no.
