Bachelor party at a golf simulator: group sizes, schedule and what it costs per person
From CHF 35 per person for 2 hours to CHF 147 and up with aperitif and a meal: what venues quote for groups, how many people fit a bay and what belongs in the request.

Yes, a golf simulator works for a bachelor party, because even someone who has never held a club can join in. The venues whose pages I read on 2 October 2026 quote prices from CHF 35 per person (2 hours, two drinks) to CHF 147 and up (4 hours with an aperitif and a cold meal). This post shows how large the group can be, what drinks cost and how to do the sum yourself.
Does a golf simulator work for a bachelor party?
A bachelor party needs a group that does something together and a game in which nobody drops out. In the simulator the ball sits still, the screen keeps score and the shots show up at once. Two providers state outright that no golf experience or no golf knowledge is needed: All Out Golf in Wallisellen and Birdie Amigos in Basel.
In the directory the word bachelor party (Junggesellenabschied) appears in none of the 110 indoor entries (as of 2 October 2026). Two entries name Polterabende, 18 name birthdays. Golf Indoor La Vallée in Le Brassus lists «EVG/EVJF» on its page, the French abbreviations for a bachelor and a bachelorette party, and Swing Easy in Étoy names «bachelor parties» on its page. So you ask as a Polterabend, a birthday or a private event and say in the request what it is about.
How many people fit into a bachelor party?
A bay is built for four people. The FUN4YOU Golf Lounge in Baden writes in its FAQ that the room is designed for up to 4 people. At RUFF Bern the entry says at most six people may use one simulator at the same time, four are recommended. For a bigger group there are three ways:
- Several bays in a package. The Swiss Golf Lounge rents 2 bays for 2 hours in its Small package, for up to 8 people and without a coach (Swiss Golf Lounge).
- A room with several bays. At Zurich Golf the half room with 1 simulator holds up to 8 people, the private room with 2 simulators up to 30 people (Zurich Golf).
- The whole venue to yourselves. All Out Golf has room for up to 8 people at a time, bigger groups play one after the other. Golf Indoor La Vallée closes the premises to the public for groups of 9 to 14 and from 15 people, up to 30.
So the number you give decides the offer: at 8, at 15 and at 30 people it changes. More on group size and bays is in Indoor golf in a group: people per bay.
What does a bachelor party cost per person?
Usually the bay or the room is rented, not the head. Some venues do charge per person, though. The table shows what seven offers state. The last column is my sum on the venue's own figures, not a quote. Impact Golf writes «Dès», which means «from».
| Venue | Group and duration | What the venue states | Per person |
|---|---|---|---|
| Birdie Amigos, Basel | 15 to 25 people, 2 hours | CHF 35 per person, minimum price CHF 525, two drinks and a bacon Gugelhopf cake or similar included | CHF 35 |
| Swiss Golf Lounge, Gossau and Spreitenbach | up to 8 people, 2 bays, 2 hours | Small package, without coach | from CHF 40 |
| Zurich Golf, Zurich | 8 people, half room, 2 hours | CHF 299 plus CHF 50 cleaning per event | about CHF 44 |
| Impact Golf, Collombey-Muraz | 5 to 15 people, 2 hours | 30 minutes of introduction, soft drinks | from CHF 55 |
| Impact Golf | 5 to 15 people, 2 hours | with aperitif | from CHF 75 |
| Impact Golf | 5 to 15 people, 4 hours | with aperitif and cold meal | from CHF 147 |
| Golf Indoor La Vallée, Le Brassus | 12 people, 2 hours | 2 times CHF 200 per hour, plus drinks package CHF 15 and aperitif dinner CHF 30 per person | from about CHF 78 |
The figures come from the venues' pages (Birdie Amigos, Swiss Golf Lounge, Zurich Golf, Impact Golf, Golf Indoor La Vallée) and hold on 2 October 2026. At Zurich Golf a drinks flat rate of CHF 10 per person comes on top if you want it, which makes about CHF 54. At Golf Indoor La Vallée the hourly rate for the whole premises starts at CHF 200 from 9 people and at CHF 250 from 15 people. The 2 hours at Birdie Amigos come from the entry in the directory, not from the provider's page. At Golf Indoor La Vallée the page calls the drinks formula «boisson illimité», meaning unlimited drinks, without champagne. What the same venues charge for an ordinary hour is on the page golf simulator prices.
What this means for you: three sums
- 8 friends, 2 hours, just playing: at Zurich Golf CHF 349 in total, about CHF 44 per person, with the drinks flat rate about CHF 54.
- 12 friends, 2 hours with drinks and aperitif: at Golf Indoor La Vallée at least CHF 940 in total, from about CHF 78 per person.
- 15 friends, 2 hours: at Birdie Amigos CHF 525, so CHF 35 per person, two drinks included.
Anyone who wants to drink more than the two drinks should budget for it. All Out Golf quotes CHF 12 per person for the drinks package without alcohol and CHF 20 per person with alcohol, and CHF 24 per person for the aperitif riche (All Out Golf).
A schedule for two hours
Two hours carry a bachelor party if they have a shape. Birdie Amigos builds them like this: introduction, then collecting points with TrackMan games, a tournament and free play. At Impact Golf the introduction lasts 30 minutes and coaching is included. From that you can make this suggestion:
- 30 minutes of introduction. Grip, stance, a few practice swings. A pro or the venue's own coaching is worth it here.
- 60 minutes of scramble in two teams. In a scramble the team plays on from the best shot, so the beginner's ball counts when it was the best. The rules are in Scramble, foursomes and four-ball explained.
- 30 minutes of contest and leaderboard. Closest to the target, longest drive, then the prize-giving.
This split is mine, not a venue's rule. More formats and the scoring are in Organising a golf tournament.
Drinks, food and what you may bring
The rules differ widely. In the directory 22 of the 110 indoor venues list a bar, 16 a restaurant and 13 catering (as of 2 October 2026). More on that is in Indoor golf with a bar and food. At FUN4YOU in Baden you may not bring your own drinks and food, at studiogolf in Zurich food and drinks you bring are allowed in the lounge areas, according to its entry. Impact Golf includes soft drinks, wine and beer are optional. So ask in the request what the venue serves and what you may bring yourselves.
What belongs in the request
- Date, time and a fallback date. Golf365 in Wil takes events outside the regular opening hours, according to its entry.
- Number of people and their level. At Zurich Golf you choose in the request between beginners, a mixed group and advanced players.
- Rental clubs. FUN4YOU provides starter sets for adults, and Impact Golf supplies clubs and balls according to its entry.
- Coaching. Golfflix requires paid coaching for guests without their own equipment and with little experience, according to its entry. At Golf Indoor La Vallée the pro costs CHF 75 per hour.
- Extra costs. Zurich Golf charges CHF 50 for cleaning per event, and its prices include VAT.
With these details you get a quote instead of a follow-up question. Each venue's website is linked in its entry.
And if you would rather have a Topgolf evening?
Anyone looking for an evening in the style of Topgolf should first read Topgolf in Switzerland: it says what exists and what comes closest. For an event billed to a company, A company event at the golf simulator is the better template.
Where to enquire now
Venues with group offers are on the golf simulator events page, the nearest one on the map, and the hourly prices are on golf simulator prices. In the directory 87 of the 110 indoor venues give details on group bookings (as of 2 October 2026).
