Indoor golf parking and getting there by car or public transport: what the listings say — post image

For 59 of the 110 indoor venues in the directory, the listing says something about parking; for 51 the information is missing. Where it is given, 21 listings name a car park, an underground garage or a parking deck and 19 name free parking spaces. 21 listings name a railway station, a stop or a line. This post reports what the listings say (as of 2 October 2026) and nothing else: whether a space is free in the evening, only the venue knows.

What the listings say about parking

I searched the parking field and the description of all 110 indoor venues for keywords and read the hits. The groups overlap: a listing can name a car park, free spaces and a bus stop.

Free parking: where, and how many spaces

19 listings name free parking spaces. Two come with a condition: at the Millennium in Crissier the outdoor car park with 60 spaces is free but limited to 90 minutes, and the indoor spaces cost money. In Montagny-près-Yverdon the meter costs CHF 1.10 per hour from Monday to Friday between 7 and 19 hours; outside those times it is free. At Gölflike in Zurich one space per slot in the underground garage is free. The listing often gives the number of spaces. It varies a lot:

VenueTownSpaces according to the listing

Indoor Golf ValaisContheyone free space in the basement, entry before 19 hours

In this table six of eleven venues are at three spaces or fewer. If you come with several cars or as a group, ask beforehand where you may go. How a group plans the hour is in A company event in the golf simulator.

Numbers, times and signs

Seven listings give the numbers of the parking spaces: Neu St. Johann, Baden, Chur (Lifestyle Golf), Rapperswil-Jona, Schaffhausen, Rotkreuz (Indoorgolf Rotkreuz) and Marin-Epagnier. Read the number before you set off so that you stand on the right space. At Good Golf in St. Gallen the spaces are above the centre behind the dog sports hall, and the listing asks you not to park directly in front of the club.

Four listings name times you should know:

  • Lifestyle Golf Chur: more spaces on weekdays from 18 hours and all day at weekends.
  • Indoorgolf Ennetsee in Rotkreuz: the mobilezone spaces in front of the venue apply daily from 17 to 7 hours and all day on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
  • Indoor Golf Club Yverdon: meter from Monday to Friday, 7 to 19 hours, free otherwise.
  • Indoor Golf Valais in Conthey: you must enter the underground garage before 19 hours.

When the venues open is in Indoor golf: opening hours, and which ones can be entered around the clock is in Indoor golf around the clock.

Car park, underground garage and charging station

21 listings name a car park, an underground garage, a parking garage or a parking deck. At the Birdie Amigos Golf Club in Basel the public ELYS car park is in the building and, according to the listing, open around the clock. At the Golf Sempach Performance Center the underground garage has direct, weather-protected access to the venue. At Dübai Golf in Dübendorf the in-house car park is free during your stay, and you take the ticket at the first pillar.

Five listings name charging stations for electric cars: the Golfpark Moossee, the CMFG Arena in Sigirino (covered parking garage, fees by length of stay), the Millennium in Crissier (40 charging stations, the indoor spaces are paid), XL Green Screen Golf in Frauenkappelen (charging is paid) and the Andermatt Golf Course (two charging stations with four charging points).

Blue zone and parking disc

Two listings name the blue zone. At Golf Corner in Basel there are seven spaces in the blue zone with a limit of 30 minutes, which according to the listing are mostly free, and the Postparking Basel 2 car park has direct access. At The Golf Room in Zurich there are blue-zone spaces in the surrounding streets and more in the underground garage at Helvetiaplatz.

On the rule, SRF writes (in German): in the blue zone you may in principle park for only one hour from Monday to Saturday during the day from 8 to 18 hours. If you arrive at 8.01, you set the disc to 8.30 and can stay until 9.30. In the evening and at night, from 18 to 7.59, the parking time runs until 9 the next morning. For Golf Corner the listing gives a limit of 30 minutes: what applies on the spot is on the sign.

Arriving by public transport

21 listings name a station, a stop or a line, in the parking field or in the description. Seven of them also name free parking spaces in the same listing, so you have the choice:

VenueTownParking according to the listingPublic transport according to the listing
Earlybirdie BadenBadenthree free spacesthree minutes on foot from the bus stop Baden, Brunnmatt (bus 2 from Baden station)

At All Out Golf in Wallisellen the station (S8, S14, S19, tram 12) is a one-minute walk away, and you pay the fee for the SBB P+Rail car park next door in the P+Rail app. SBB names Twint, Apple Pay, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, PostFinance Pay, Diners Club and Reka as payment methods for it. At Golfpark Moossee it is a 20-minute walk from Münchenbuchsee station (S3). At Alpine Golf in Le Châble you go without a car by train, bus or gondola to Le Châble and walk a good 15 minutes; the last stretch has no pavement. How you pay there is in Paying for indoor golf.

Car-free resorts: Zermatt, Saas-Fee and Riederalp

Three listings name a car-free resort. In Zermatt, according to the listing, no motor vehicles run in the village; the Matterland Indoor-Golf is in the basement of Haus Castor. According to zermatt.ch private vehicles may only go as far as Täsch: those travelling by car park in Täsch and reach Zermatt in 12 minutes by shuttle train or taxi. In Saas-Fee you park in the car park or on the open lot at the village entrance, the hotel collects guests from Terminal A/B (8 to 20 hours), and the simulator of the Amber Hotel stands outside the hotel near the car park. On the Riederalp the car stays in the car park at the valley station in Mörel (CHF 8 to 12 per day), and you continue by cable car (Casa Andrea).

What parking can cost, and what that means for you

Ten listings name fees, only three of them an amount:

VenueTownFee according to the listing
Indoor Golf Club YverdonMontagny-près-Yverdonmeter CHF 1.10 per hour, Monday to Friday 7 to 19 hours, free otherwise
INGOLFOpfikonspaces at the Novotel next door, CHF 5, paid by TWINT
Casa AndreaRiederalpcar park at the valley station in Mörel, CHF 8 to 12 per day
All Out GolfWallisellenSBB P+Rail car park, fee via the P+Rail app (no amount given)
Indoorgolf EnnetseeRotkreuzpublic spaces, ParkingPay or coins (no amount given)

A worked example: two hours on a weekday at 14 hours in Montagny-près-Yverdon cost 2 times CHF 1.10, so CHF 2.20. An evening after 19 hours costs nothing at the meter. Before you set off, this order helps:

  • Open the venue's listing and read the parking field. If it is missing, which is the case at 51 of 110 venues, ask the venue.
  • Watch for numbers, times and entry rules.
  • If you come with several cars, ask how many spaces there are.
  • If you want to come without a car, look at the public transport entry and the timetable.
  • Have coins or the right app ready for the fee.

What else you bring to the hour is in What to bring to your first simulator hour. If you practise alone and in the evening, Playing golf alone puts it in context.
