A date in a golf simulator is a booked hour in a bay, at some venues in a private room. At the median of the entries the hour costs CHF 50 for the whole bay, which for two is CHF 25 per person (as of 2 October 2026). The price is for the bay, not per head. 22 indoor venues list a bar in their entry, 16 a restaurant, and rental clubs are there where the venue provides them. Only one entry names an offer that is explicitly called a "Date Night".

Does indoor golf work as a date?

Whether it makes a good date is up to you. What can be documented is what you get: a room, a simulator, time for two and, depending on the venue, something to drink. I searched the directory's entries for date, couple, romantic, rendezvous, Valentine and "for two" (as of 2 October 2026, our own entries). Two entries match. Golf Corner in Basel writes that, according to the provider, the double hour suits an 18-hole round alone or for two. NextGolf Pieterlen names a "Date Night" in its entry, dinner and 2 hours of indoor golf. Price and dates are not in the entry, and whether the offer is on at the moment you can only find out there.

How an evening goes

  • Booking: At self-service venues such as Golf Corner in Basel and Earlybirdie in Aarau you book online and receive an access code that opens the room. At Alpine Golf in Verbier you book in advance by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail.
  • The room: Golf Corner lets the room as a whole. At Swing Easy in Étoy it is at the group's sole disposal during the booking.
  • The game: Earlybirdie names over 300 virtual courses and modes such as Closest to the Pin or Bullseye, Golf Corner golf darts. Alpine Golf names 9 holes, golf games and virtual mini golf.
  • The length: For 18 holes for two Golf Corner names the double hour, 1 h 55 min for CHF 99.
  • Afterwards: bar, lounge or bistro, if the venue has one, more on that below.

What an evening for two costs

80 of the 110 indoor venues name an hourly price, between CHF 25 and 99, with a median of CHF 50 per bay (as of 2 October 2026, our own entries). The price is for the bay and not per person. Earlybirdie charges the hour regardless of the number of players, and Impact Golf names on its page one price for the box, which up to 4 players share. For two you divide it by two. At the median, 2 hours come to CHF 100, CHF 50 per person. In the table the price for 2 hours lies between CHF 45 and 100 per person. Drinks and food are not included, the entries do not name their prices. At Alpine Golf the price covers up to 2 people, and every further person costs CHF 20 per hour according to the page. Bar, lounge, bistro: where there is something to drink

In the food and drink field 55 of the 110 indoor venues list something, 22 a bar, 16 a restaurant (as of 2 October 2026, our own entries). At Earlybirdie it is a minibar in the private room, at Swing Easy a self-service bar with local products (Swing Easy). At RUFF Bern you can order drinks and food according to the venue, and in the bar lounge at Golfflix you pay by TWINT. If you want more than a drink: L'Indoor Geneva in Carouge names a bar with restaurant, Lifestyle Golf in Chur a restaurant and bar at CHF 60 per 50 minutes. If one of you has never played

At Earlybirdie free golf sets are ready, at Swing Easy rental clubs for right- and left-handers, at RUFF Bern they cost CHF 10, at Golf Corner CHF 15 per booking, and at Golfflix they are available on advance notice. RUFF Bern writes that no previous experience is required and that the venue is staffed. Golfflix requires paid supervision for guests without their own equipment and with little golf experience: ask before you book. Swing Easy writes that not everyone in the group has to like golf, and names a pool table, a bar and live sport on TV for that.

What to settle before you book

  • The evening opening time: Alpine Golf in Verbier is open daily from 12 to 20 in winter, and Earlybirdie and Golf Corner name access around the clock in their entries.
  • Bay or person: Ask whether further players cost extra, and whether the price is for the bay or per head.
  • Self-service or staffed: At Earlybirdie and Golf Corner a code opens the door, at RUFF Bern the venue is staffed.
  • Rental clubs and supervision: What they cost and what is included is in the table above and in the entry.
