Indoor minigolf in Switzerland: venues, black light, prices and opening hours — post image

Indoor minigolf is available at several places in Switzerland, and five of six operators mention black light on their own page. An adult pays between CHF 13 and 22.50 for a round, children and young people pay CHF 8 to 20. On 2 October 2026 I read the pages of six operators at nine locations in seven cantons. This post gives place, price and opening hours as the venues state them themselves.

The venues by canton

The table shows where you find indoor minigolf and what a round costs per person. It is not a complete list but the venues whose prices and hours I could read on their own page. The link in the third column leads to the venue's page.

On Monday, by these statements, only three of the six operators are open: FantasyGolf in Winterthur, Galaxy Golf in Rümlang and FUN4YOU in Dättwil. Rottal, the Erlebniscenter Basel and Rollers are closed on Mondays, and the Erlebniscenter in Basel on Tuesdays too. Hours change, above all in school holidays. So check the venue's page before you set off.

Black light, 3D glasses and duration: what to expect

Five of the six operators mention black light on their own page: Rottal, FantasyGolf, Galaxy Golf, the Erlebniscenter Basel and FUN4YOU. Basel describes it with UV light effects and 3D sets. In Ruswil the black light does not run all day but on weekday evenings and throughout Saturday and Sunday. At Galaxy Golf the 3D rental glasses, club and ball are in the price, in Basel the 3D glasses, and FUN4YOU lists the 3D glasses next to the prices. Rollers goes for a different theme: the course is inspired by film classics, and along the course there are bar shelves for drinks and snacks. Under 16 you play there only with an adult.

Galaxy Golf gives about 90 minutes for the 18 lanes, depending on how many players are in a round. That is roughly 5 minutes per lane. Rollers gives 60 to 90 minutes. Allow for the last admission: at Galaxy Golf it is 90 minutes before closing, in Winterthur 45 minutes, in Ruswil and in Basel one hour. If you play in Rümlang on a Monday you must check in by 19:30 at the latest because the venue closes at 21:00.

What does a family with two children pay?

A worked example for one round: two adults and two children aged ten, who count as children or young people at every venue in the table. The prices are the ones from the first table.

VenueCalculationTotal
Dättwil2 × CHF 13 plus 2 × CHF 9CHF 44
Ruswil2 × CHF 14 plus 2 × CHF 8CHF 44
Basel, Erlebniscenter2 × CHF 15 plus 2 × CHF 11CHF 52
Rümlang, Monday to Thursday2 × CHF 16.20 plus 2 × CHF 12.60CHF 57.60
Winterthur2 × CHF 17 plus 2 × CHF 14CHF 62
Rümlang, Friday to Sunday2 × CHF 18 plus 2 × CHF 14CHF 64
Rollers with a reservation4 × CHF 20CHF 80
Rollers without a reservation4 × CHF 22.50CHF 90

So the family pays between CHF 44 and 90 for one round. In this selection Rollers is the most expensive, and a child costs as much as an adult there. A second round costs the family CHF 26 in Ruswil (8 and 5 per person) and also CHF 26 in Basel, because the second round is 50 % cheaper. Anyone who only watches in Basel pays CHF 1.

Minigolf at a golf simulator: four listings in the directory

If you want minigolf as a game on a screen, some simulator venues offer it. Of the 110 indoor listings in the directory, four mention minigolf in their description (as of 2 October 2026, our own listings). The prices are per hour:

VenuePlaceWhat the listing saysPrice in the listing
FUN4YOU Golf LoungeBaden AGfun mode with golf and minigolf gamesCHF 53 to 63

The FUN4YOU Golf Lounge and the black light minigolf of FUN4YOU are, by the FUN4YOU page and our listing, at the same address, on Zelgweg in Dättwil. There minigolf is a game on the screen, with no lanes in the hall. The comparison of the two formats, with rules for children and a family sum, is in the post Indoor minigolf or golf simulator.

What this means for you

  • On a Monday you play in Winterthur, Rümlang or Dättwil.
  • For a family on a small budget the round in Dättwil and in Ruswil at CHF 44 is the cheapest.
  • With small children: in Dättwil children up to 2 play free, in Basel a companion who only watches pays CHF 1.
  • Late in the evening you play in Winterthur (Friday and Saturday until 1:00), in Dättwil (until 24:00) or at Rollers (until 1:00, in Bern until 0:30).
  • In Ruswil groups under 10 people need no registration, and at weekends the venue takes none. In Basel and at Rollers you book online.

What else works in bad weather is in Golf in rain and cold and Golf in winter in Switzerland. If your child wants to try golf afterwards, Golf for children in Switzerland helps. How minigolf is scored and how many strokes a lane allows is explained in Minigolf rules: strokes, lanes and scoring.
